The Süderelbe Region stretches from the south of the river Elbe over the three disticts Harburg, Stade and Lüneburg. 800,000 people live in an area of 4,000 square kilometers. About 30,000 companies are located here.
The region’s benefit is not only its closeness to Hamburg, an important location for business in Europe. Other features are the immediate proximity to the port of Hamburg and a continuous motorway and railway network, Europe’s biggest railway terminal Maschen and a high availability of industrial space.
